In the morning, the President will return to the White House from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The departure from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will be covered by the out-of-town pool.  The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press.
 
In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will have lunch. This meeting in the President’s Private Dining Room will be closed press.

Friday, August 18, 2023

The President will greet with and welcome President Yoon Suk Yeol of the Republic of Korea and Prime Minister Kishida Fumio of Japan to the Camp David Trilateral Summit.

The President will hold a trilateral meeting with President Yoon Suk Yeol of the Republic of Korea and Prime Minister Kishida Fumio of Japan.

The President will host a joint press conference with President Yoon Suk Yeol of the Republic of Korea and Prime Minister Kishida Fumio of Japan.

The President will travel from Camp David to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, where he will remain until the following Thursday.

Monday -–  Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to deliver major remarks at the IBEW 357 Training Center on how President Biden’s policies have powered a historic economic recovery, and how the Inflation Reduction Act has begun to transform the American economy. Prior to her speech, Secretary Yellen will tour the Training Center to see the IBEW’s cutting edge clean energy training programs, which are ensuring American workers are prepared to take advantage of the opportunities created by the growth of the clean energy economy.
