 DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE 
FOR MONDAY, JANUARY 22, 2024

In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.

After, the President will return to Washington, DC from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The departure from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival on the South Lawn will be open press.

In the afternoon, the President will convene a meeting of his Task Force on Reproductive Healthcare Access to mark the 51st anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision. This meeting in the State Dining Room will be covered by the in-house pool.

Monday – – Secretary Blinken is on travel to Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, and Angola  from January 21-26, 2024.

10:15 a.m. LOCAL Secretary Blinken meets with Cabo Verdean Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva in Praia, Cabo Verde.

Monday – Ambassador Katherine Tai is back from Sunday’s trip to Monterey Park, California.
 Co-Chair of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI), she met Sunday with local leaders and join the Monterey Park community in a candlelight vigil to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the tragic and senseless act of violence that took the lives of eleven people
