Yellen is interviewed in a front-page story in the FT, scolding OPEC+ for its production cut and reviewing US priorities for this week’s IMF-World Bank meetings, the G-20 and the G-7. Ambassador Tai will discuss the Biden-Harris Administration’s trade agenda and how President Biden’s economic accomplishments — from investing in critical semiconductor technology to passing a historic infrastructure bill to the Inflation Reduction Act – will benefit American workers, lower costs for consumers, and make the United States more competitive abroad.
