WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Monday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as U.S. economic data and Federal Reserve events:

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE
FOR MONDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2023 

 
In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. The Vice President will attend.  This meeting in the Oval Office will be closed press.

The President will deliver remarks to celebrate the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which the President proudly cosponsored as a senator, and to mark Disability Pride Month. The President will highlight the incredible progress the country has made since the passage of the ADA while acknowledging those who are working to ensure we live up to the full promise of the law. The Vice President and the Second Gentleman will attend. This event on the south lawn will be open press.
 
The President will convene his Cabinet to get an update on the progress we’re making on pressing priorities for the country including implementing the historic legislation he has signed into law, balancing the promise and peril of artificial intelligence, and taking action on gun violence. The Vice President will participate.  This meeting in the Cabinet Room will have an in-house pool spray at the top.

Ambassador Katherine Tai will attend a meeting of President Biden’s Cabinet. This meeting will have an in-house pool spray at the top.

Ambassador Tai will host a virtual ministerial meeting with Indo-Pacific Economic Framework Pillar I (Trade) counterparts. In this meeting, she will note progress made so far and outline ongoing engagement on the Trade Pillar in order to advance resilience, sustainability, inclusiveness, economic growth, fairness, and competitiveness in the region.
