In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
Then, the President will travel to Greensboro, North Carolina. The departure from the White House and the departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival at Piedmont Triad International Airport will be open press.
In the afternoon, the President will visit the Harold L. Martin Sr. Engineering Research & Innovation Complex and meet faculty and students studying robotics and cybersecurity at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. This tour will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
After, the President will deliver remarks on his Administration’s efforts to rebuild supply chains and lay a foundation for an economic renewal that’s made in America through the Bipartisan Innovation Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, building on the remarkable progress we’ve made growing our economy thanks to the American Rescue Plan. The Bipartisan Innovation Act will make historic investments in research and development and innovation in every corner of the country—creating good manufacturing jobs, strengthening our supply chains, and lowering prices for the middle class. These remarks at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University will be open press.
Later, the President will travel to Camp David, where he will remain over the weekend. The departure from Piedmont Triad International Airport will be open press. The arrival at Hagerstown Regional Airport and the arrival at Camp David will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
