In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
 
In the evening, the President will host a screening of “Till,” the story of Mamie Till-Mobley who pursued justice after the lynching of her 14-year-old son, Emmett Till, in 1955. This event in the East Room will be pooled for TV and open to pre-credentialed media.

US TREASURY

Thursday –  Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo will travel to Atlanta, Georgia, to highlight the Biden-Harris Administration’s historic investments in economic recovery and long-term community development. On Thursday, Deputy Secretary Adeyemo will join SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman to meet with small business owners and entrepreneurs and discuss promoting access to capital in historically underserved communities. Secretary Yellen has no public engagements.

Ambassador Tai will be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to meet with government officials, labor representatives, and business leaders to discuss the United States’ priorities in the region, including the current negotiations for the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework.  These meetings are closed press.
  
Friday, February 17, 2023
 
Ambassador Tai will be in Munich, Germany.
 
At 6:45 PM CET, Ambassador Tai will participate in a panel discussion during the Munich Security Conference with European Union Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis to discuss ongoing changes to the global trade landscape.  This event is open press. 
 
Saturday, February 18, 2023
 
Ambassador Tai will be in Munich, Germany.  Additional details on meetings will be shared at a later date.
