White House and Other Schedules for Thursday, July 14

WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Thursday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as US data and Federal Reserve events:

In the morning, the President will participate in a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Yair Lapid of Israel. This meeting will be covered by the out-of-town pool and have a pool spray at the top.

After, the President will participate in the first Leaders meeting of the “I2U2” group, where he will be joined by the Leaders of Israel, India, and the United Arab Emirates. This meeting will be covered by the out-of-town pool and have a pool spray at the top.

Then, the President will hold a press conference with Prime Minister Yair Lapid. This event will be open to pre-credentialed media.
 
Later, the President will hold meetings with President Isaac Herzog of Israel and Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Both meetings at the Beit HaNassi will be closed press.
 
In the evening, the President will greet with U.S. athletes and view the opening ceremonies of the Maccabiah Games. This event at Teddy Stadium will be covered by the out-of-town pool.

The President will deliver remarks at Augusta Victoria Hospital regarding the East Jerusalem Hospital Network.

The President will meet with President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority at the Muqataa Presidential Compound in Bethlehem, West Bank.

The President and President Mahmoud Abbas will deliver joint statements.
 
The President will visit the Church of the Nativity.

The President will travel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
  
US TREASURY

Thursday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will participate in official events and bilateral meetings on the margins of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting in Bali, Indonesia. At the G20, Secretary Yellen will work with U.S. allies and partners to advance the global economic recovery and continue the united effort to increase economic pressure on Russia in response to its unprovoked and unjustified war against Ukraine. The Secretary’s meetings will also focus on the coordinated global response to address the war’s spillover effects on global energy prices and food insecurity. In advance of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting, at 4:00 PM WITA / 4:00 AM ET, Secretary Yellen will host a press conference in Nusa Dua, Indonesia. This event will be open to pre-credentialed media and available via livestream here.

Thursday – Ambassador Katherine Tai, who is isolating at home after testing positive for Covid, will hold virtual meetings with staff. These meetings are closed press.
