White House and Other Schedules for Thursday, July 27

WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Thursday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as U.S. economic data and Federal Reserve events:

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE 
FOR THURSDAY, JULY 27, 2023 


In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.

After, the President will announce additional actions to protect communities from extreme heat. These remarks in South Court Auditorium will be pooled for TV and open to pre-credentialed media. 

In the afternoon, the President will welcome Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni of Italy to the White House to reaffirm the strong relationship between the United States and Italy. They will discuss our common strategic interests, including our shared commitment to continue supporting Ukraine in the face of Russia’s aggression, developments in North Africa, and closer transatlantic coordination regarding the People’s Republic of China. They will also discuss Italy’s upcoming presidency of the G7 in 2024. This meeting in the Oval Office will have an in-house pool spray at the top.

In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at the Truman Civil Rights Symposium at the National Archives Building, Washington, DC. The departure from the South Grounds and arrival at the National Archives Building will be covered by the in-town travel pool. These remarks will be open press.

After, the President will return to the White House. The departure from the National Archives Building and the arrival to the South Grounds will be covered by the in-town travel pool.
