Thursday –  At 3:45 PM, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will be presented the Paul A. Volcker Award at the National Association for Business Economics’ 39th  Annual Economic Policy Conference. Secretary Yellen will give remarks after the award ceremony. Ambassador Tai will deliver remarks at the Summit for Democracy’s Indo-Pacific Regional Anti-Corruption Meeting in Seoul to highlight how the Biden Administration is working with our allies and partners to promote democracy, strengthen our institutions, and address corruption.
 
Ambassador Tai will meet separately with the Republic of Korea’s Minister for Trade Ahn Dukgeun and Minister of Employment and Labor Lee Jung Sik.  These meetings are closed press.

Ambassador Tai will deliver pre-recorded remarks at the National Council on Textiles Organization’s Annual Meeting.
