In the evening, the President will address the people’s representatives in Congress at the State of the Union. He will speak about the historic achievements he has delivered for the American people and his vision for the future. The Vice President, the First Lady, and the Second Gentleman will also attend. This event at the United States Capitol will covered by the in-town travel pool.

Thursday – 10:00 a.m.: Convene and proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the nomination of Adrienne Jennings Noti, of the District of Columbia, to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Way cleared for final vote on the “minibus” that avoids a partial govt shutdown at the end of the week. The more important deadline for funding the rest of government is March 22.
