In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will meet with CEOs to hear their perspectives on the economy, discuss his Administration’s progress implementing his historic agenda, and highlight how Bidenomics is growing the economy from the middle out and bottom up. This meeting coincides with the Administration’s third Investing in America tour. This meeting in the Roosevelt Room will be closed press.

Thursday – Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen will continue to represent the United States in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) in Marrakech, Morocco, and participate in events on its margins.

At 9:45AM WEST / 4:45AM ET, Secretary Yellen will participate in the World Bank Development Committee plenary meeting. Secretary Yellen will highlight the significant progress we have made on evolving multilateral development banks (MDB) so that they are better positioned to meet their economic development goals and address global challenges. This meeting is closed press.

At 5:00PM WEST / 12:00PM ET, Secretary Yellen will participate in the Global Sovereign Debt Roundtable. This meeting is closed press.

At 6:30PM WEST / 1:30PM ET, Secretary Yellen will attend a working dinner for G20 finance ministers and central bank governors. This dinner is closed press. 

 STATE DEPT

Thursday –   Departmental news briefings when  held on weekdays are around 1:15p ET and livestreamed on the state.gov site.

USTR

Thursday – Ambassador Katherine Tai will be in New York, New York.

At 10:45AM, Ambassador Tai will attend the Axios BFD Summit and participate in a fireside chat moderated by Hope King, senior business reporter for Axios. During the event, Ambassador Tai will highlight USTR’s ongoing initiatives to advance the Biden-Harris Administration’s worker-centered trade agenda. She will also discuss how re-focusing trade on people and promoting opportunities for competition contributes to President Biden’s economic agenda to build the economy from the middle out and the bottom up.
