White House and Other Schedules for Tuesday, March 21

WASHINGTON (MaceNews) – The following are Tuesday’s schedules for the White House, Treasury, USTR, the State Department and Capitol Hill as well as U.S. economic data and Federal Reserve events:

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE 
FOR TUESDAY, MARCH 21, 2023 

 
In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks at the White House Conservation in Action Summit in Washington, DC. The summit, taking place at the Department of the Interior, will highlight the Biden-Harris Administration’s actions and historic investments to advance conservation, restoration, and stewardship efforts and access to nature in communities nationwide. The departure from and arrival to the South Grounds will be covered by the in-town travel pool. These remarks will be pooled for TV and open to pre-credentialed media.

Later, the President and the First Lady will host an Arts and Humanities Award Ceremony in the East Room. The Vice President and the Second Gentleman will attend. This event will be pooled for TV and open to pre-credentialed media.

The President and the First Lady will host a Women’s History Month reception at the White House. The Vice President will also deliver remarks. The Second Gentleman will attend.

Thursday, March 23, 2023

The President will host an anniversary event for the Affordable Care Act in the East Room.

The President and the First Lady will travel to Ottawa, Canada. The President will reaffirm the United States’ commitment to the U.S.-Canada partnership and promote our shared security, shared prosperity, and shared values.

The President and the First Lady will participate in a greet with Her Excellency The Right Honorable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, and His Excellency Whit Fraser.

Friday, March 24, 2023

The President will participate in a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada.

The President will address the Canadian Parliament. The First Lady will attend.

The President and the First Lady will travel from Ottawa, Canada to Wilmington, Delaware where they will remain for the weekend.

Tuesday  – 7a ET remarks released from Secretary Yellen who will deliver the remarks at 10a ET and then join CEO Rob Nichols in a conversation about the economy and the health of the banking system at the American Bankers Association Washington DC Summit.

STATE DEPT
