Ambassador Katherine Tai will be in Luleå, Sweden for the fourth Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Ministerial, along with the U.S. co-chairs, Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken and Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, and meet with the European Union co-chairs, European Commission Executive Vice Presidents Valdis Dombrovskis and Margrethe Vestager.
Ambassador Tai will meet with Sweden’s Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Johan Forssell. This meeting is closed press.
Ambassador Tai and the co-chairs will tour Hybrit (Hydrogen Breakthrough Ironmaking Technology), a joint venture between Swedish companies to develop a fossil-free value chain for iron and steel production using fossil-free electricity and hydrogen.

Ambassador Tai will participate in TTC events with the U.S. and EU co-chairs. This will include hosting a group of U.S. and EU labor and business executives for the second ministerial session of the U.S.-EU Trade and Labor Dialogue alongside European Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis.
Ambassador Tai will participate in a co-chairs press conference at the conclusion of the TTC Ministerial in Luleå. This will be live streamed via Europe by Satellite.
Ambassador Jayme White will meet with Argentina’s Secretary for International Economic Relations, Cecilia Todesca Bocco. This meeting is closed press.
