In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
After, the President will travel to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The departure from the North Grounds will be covered by the in-town pool. The departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival to Fort Lauderdale International Airport will be open press.
In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks on protecting Social Security and Medicare and lowering prescription drug costs. These remarks in Hallandale Beach, Florida will be open press.
After, the President will participate in a reception for gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist in Golden Beach, Florida. This reception in Golden Beach, Florida will be covered by the restricted out-of-town pool and the out-of-town pool will accompany.
Later, the President will travel to Miami Gardens, Florida. The departure from Gulfstream Park Landing Zone will be covered by the out of-town pool. The arrival to Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
In the evening, the President will participate in a political event for the Democratic Party, senatorial candidate Val Demings, and gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist at Florida Memorial University. This event at Florida Memorial University will be covered by the out-of-town pool.
After, the President will return to the White House. The departure from Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport and from Fort Lauderdale International Airport will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival to and departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival to the South Lawn will be open press.
