In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
In the afternoon, the President will deliver remarks on the whole-of-government response and recovery efforts on Maui, Hawaii and the ongoing response from the federal government to Hurricane Idalia. Then, the President will convene Cabinet and agency officials to continue directing the Administration’s ongoing efforts on the ground and the work underway to support the people of Maui. The remarks in the Roosevelt Room will be covered by the in-house pool.
