Yellen will deliver remarks at the U.S. Conference of Mayors Winter Meeting on how the Biden Administration’s economic plan has spurred a historic economic recovery and how our partnership with cities and states on the American Rescue Plan, Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and Inflation Reduction Act has positioned local governments to build and strengthen their communities for the long term. Wednesday – Secretary Blinken is on travel to Davosd from January 15-17, 2024.. Today he answers questions from Thomas Friedman, livestreamed on YouTube and at state.gov. He then meets with UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron. And finally he participates in a a roundtable with CEOs.

Wednesday–. Back at 10a ET. With three days until a threatened partial government shutdown the House must still pass a stop-gap funding measure, keeping govt open until March in two stages, which began consideration Tuesday by the Senate.
