After, the President and the First Lady will host Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Ms. Jodie Haydon of Australia for an Official Visit to the United States, which will include a state dinner. The visit will underscore the deep and enduring Alliance between the United States and Australia and the two nations’ shared commitment to supporting an open, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific. President Biden and Prime Minister Albanese will discuss strengthening collaboration on critical issues for both nations in order to ensure the Alliance is well equipped to respond to ever-evolving regional and global challenges.
Later, the President and the First Lady will greet Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Ms. Jodie Haydon of Australia for the Official Arrival Ceremony on the South Lawn. The Vice President will attend. This event on the South Lawn will be open press.
Then, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia. This event in the Oval Office will have an in-house pool spray at the top.
In the afternoon, the President will hold a joint press conference with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia. This event in the Rose Garden will be open press.
