White House and Other Schedules for Wednesday, Sept 14

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE 
FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2022  

In the morning, the President will receive the President’s Daily Brief. This meeting will be closed press.
 
After, the President will travel to Detroit, Michigan. The departure from the South Grounds will be covered by the in-town travel pool. The departure from Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival at Detroit Metropolitan Airport will be open press.
 
Later, the President will tour the Detroit Auto Show and deliver remarks to highlight the electric vehicle manufacturing boom in America thanks to his economic plan. This tour of the Detroit Auto Show will be covered by the out-of-town pool. These remarks at the Detroit Auto Show will be open press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will participate in a reception for the Democratic National Committee. This event in Detroit, Michigan will be covered by the restricted out-of-town pool and the out-of-town pool will accompany.
 
Later, the President will return to the White House from Detroit, Michigan. The departure from the Detroit Metropolitan Airport will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival at Joint Base Andrews will be covered by the out-of-town pool. The arrival to the South Lawn will be open press.

Wednesday – Secretary Blinken returns fro his visit to Purdue U. Tues where he and Commerce Secretary Raimondo discussed the future of semiconductor manufacturing. Wednesday  – Ambassador Katherine Tai will be in Neuhardenberg, Germany for the 2022 meeting of the G7 trade ministers. Ambassador Tai will meet with European Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis.  This meeting is closed press.
